We appreciate that it may not be possible to attend an appointment due to geographical constraints. We also understand that some elderly or disabled patients will struggle to attend an appointment at either of the hospital sites. Hence we now offer a video consultation service from the comfort of your own home.
A video consultation can be done at a mutually convenient time and offers the opportunity to discuss your symptoms with Dr. Hamaad in a face-to-face setting. With a video consultation there are obvious restrictions in that a physical examination will not be possible nor can we arrange certain tests but it will allow the opportunity to make a potential diagnosis with the ability to book for your tests at a later date.
Dr Hamaad uses a video conferencing application called Zoom allowing a confidential and secure means of having your cardiology consultation.
Instructions on how to use the application are provided. For patients who are unable to access or use Zoom there is the alternative of using Skype.
Fees for a video consultation are the same as that of a face-to-face consultation at £180.
Any additional tests that are booked for a later date are charged at the usual rate.
