If you have a family history of heart problems, or just anxieties about the condition of your heart there is now a healthy heart check available to ease your concerns. You do not need expensive medical insurance to have these tests and they can offer significant reassurance about the health of your heart.
A number of different packages are available to choose from depending on your symptoms and what aspects of your heart you wish to have assessed. Each package is tailored towards a particular set of symptoms or conditions.
Alternatively a complete package is also available that will assess everything from the electrical to the pumping efficiency of your heart. Because these packages involve a number of tests it can substantially reduce the cost compared to having each of these tests individually. The fee covers both initial and follow-up consultations to review the test results. If any condition is picked up by these tests a full treatment plan will be included.

Option 1 (Basic)
The basic package involves an assessment looking at the basic electrical and pumping action of your heart.

Option 3 (Coronary)
This package focuses on the assessment for coronary artery disease, particularly if there are any concerns surrounding chest pain or a family history of heart attacks. It will assess the exercise capability of your heart in detail.

Option 4 (Blood pressure)
This package focuses on assessment of suspected high blood pressure. If you are suspected on having high blood pressure, have a family history of high blood pressure or even if you are already on treatment for high blood pressure and want a further assessment this option is ideal for you.

- 24 hour blood pressure monitor

Option 5 (Complete assessment)
This option includes every test available to assess all aspects of your heart’s function. This will assess the electrical, pumping action and exercise capacity of your heart. Because of the number of tests involved the test includes a free-of-charge 24-hour blood pressure analysis.

Why see a specialist privately?
You may already have been referred to see a specialist at your local NHS hospital. However, you may be waiting several weeks for your appointment and that is several weeks of worry that can be avoided by seeking a private consultation. A private appointment can be made within a few days and you can avoid weeks of unnecessary waiting. You can also pick a day and time for your appointment that suits you without having to take a day off work.
